AYA (pronounced “eye–ah”)
The Aya symbol featured in our logo is inspired by Adinkra symbolism, a visual language rooted in West African history and tradition. Originating from the former Gyaman Kingdom of present-day Côte d’Ivoire and the Ashanti culture of Ghana, Aya is derived from the Twi word for “fern.”
The fern is known for its ability to thrive in challenging conditions, symbolizing endurance, resilience, and resourcefulness. These qualities are at the heart of Aya Events Co. Every event requires adaptability, intention, and strength behind the scenes, and we pride ourselves on producing experiences of all scales with precision, care, and follow-through.
